Jessica de Bruyn is a writing coach, editor and writer who has been working with published and independent authors for the past decade. She is a graduate of Vancouver Film School’s illustrious Writing for Film & Television program, where she received extensive training in story structure, wrote for various mediums, and fell in love with the collaborative nature of writing. Jessica has been a consultant and editor for five literary agencies, including 5 Otter Literary, and has worked on books sold to big 5 and independent publishers, as well as with many self and hybrid published authors. She also served on the executive for the Toronto branch of Editors Canada for three years and co-hosted the podcast Pub Hub, a behind-the-scenes look at the publishing industry.
